This store had been highly recommended and now I know why as I the many experiences I had with the staff (in person and on the phone) and how the puppies were treated. I visited many times and knew exactly what I wanted for my next pup. Each and every time, I made an appointment and I was treated with the same kindness and understanding as the sweet girls on the staff knew that I was waiting for a very particular pup and wasn't going to rush into buying one. They never rushed me, they always greeted me with smiles and sweetness as if I had been an old friend. Jocelin was the one that helped me from start to finish the day I did buy my pup and now I consider her my pup's aunt due to how much she wanted him to find a good home and how loving she was to him. She listened so intently when I asked questions and was so patient when I needed things repeated. Each and every staff member loves each animal within in their care SO very much, are all extremely knowledgeable, and honest. I am SO grateful I found Petland and my now adorable new puppy.
Man, I love this place. Two years ago, I got a sweet little cockatiel from here that has changed my life for the better. I've had my fair share of experiences that have caused me to get near the brink of life but the little guy has been with me through all of it and shown me the most unconditional love a bird can show. He's pretty much like a tiny flying dog. The people here are great too. I come in every few months or so, so my bird can get his nails clipped for free. And the people are really helpful, especially Mike. They really know what they're talking about and it's the only pet store in the area I've been to that has people who actually seem to care for their animals. Now, I can't say too much about the dogs because hey, I've never had one but, they seem pretty energetic and playful. This Petland is a pretty dang great place. Great people, great animals and great atmosphere (just gets a little crowded sometimes).
They even sell amphibians and reptiles as well.
this is my second time visiting this place and the service was terrible once again. i thought i just came in at the wrong time last time because it was busy but then today it wasn’t busy whatsoever and we went up to a lady to assure her we wanted to play with a dog and she said we would be the next people to get a room once one opens. little did we know new families kept taking the open rooms and we were stuck waiting till it closed. waiting for about an hour and no one came up to us since we said we wanted to pet the dogs. we went up to the lady and said we were waiting and all she said back to us was, “sorry we are closed you can come tomorrow and 10 am.” overall this place deserves a 1/5 bc the service sucks so brutally.

Staff is very friendly and helpful, it has a variety of animals which you can just pet and play with. Very little selection of cats tho.. which I'm kinda disappointed.. I'm a cat person and very few items In Stock for cats too. I got my new beta fish here. They have a large variety of fish and fish supplies on the other side of the room. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has pets or would like to get one! :)
Although Petland is the one advertised, connected to the store is another one that has an astounding selection of fish. Better variety than all the other aquatic store I've seen combined.
